Account Director

BrightWave, North America’s leading email agency, is searching far and wide for a multi-talented Account Director. This email marketing wunderkind can lead email and eCRM/Loyalty program planning and own the client relationship across multiple key agency accounts. The AD will collaborate in tandem with multiple client stakeholders and internal BrightWave teams to build, optimize and reshape email and eCRM/Loyalty initiatives that directly impact client business goals–with one hand tied.

In addition to the aforementioned superhuman traits, the AD will lead the charge in managing account budgeting, including tracking against client revenue growth and forecasting, and setting expectations internally and externally through clear, direct and specific documentation and communication. The AD reports to the Chief Client Officer and will be the primary owner of the client relationship.

This person tends to always have fantastic, out-of-the-box lunch recommendations, as well. You know, the important things.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of client management experience with an interactive agency managing digital programs
  • Extensive understanding of email and eCRM/Loyalty programs
  • Experience working with creative and IT resources and a thorough understanding of related deliverables
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under ever-changing needs and schedules; handling multiple accounts at once while meeting tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with project management processes (timeline development, trafficking, etc…) and quality assurance/control (QA/QC) protocols (this role will collaborate closely with our campaign/project management team)
  • Experience with accounting processes for projects - includes forecasting, scoping/billing and managing a account specific P&L
  • Team leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both oral and written communication
  • Experience identifying growth opportunities for client projects and increasing scope of services in consideration of revenue growth goals
  • Ability to support idea generation and/or new business initiatives, when required
  • Killer PowerPoint skills and the ability to command an audience while presenting to all levels within an organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree

This role requires up to 20% travel.
